Dear God, today I approach you to thank you for allowing me to live another Christmas, a beautiful time of light and celebration, which unites families and friends. Let these days our eyes fill with brightness, our lips smile and our hearts of sincere humanity.
Jesus of Nazareth, You were born in a family full of love and union, so I ask you to be You blessing my home. Please guide our decisions, inspire our actions and allow respect, kindness and understanding to reign in our home.
Give us your hug and help us change the grudge for forgiveness, despair for joy and intolerance for understanding. I ask you to visit our home and be blessing our table and to all of us who will sit down to share in it.
In these days of peace and love, give us the greatness of heart to forgive the failures of others and allow others to forgive our faults. Illuminate our life with your light and help us achieve our purposes. Please look at our hearts, our intentions and our needs and give us the strength and courage to achieve those purposes that we so long for for our lives.
I also ask you for the most needy, please open them with your mantle of love, give them warmth of home, provide them with daily bread, help them overcome their needs and make them celebrate your birth, they have a new heart and a new hope.
Lord, I ask you to fill our hearts with your presence this Christmas and may your beautiful company and the glow of the star of Bethlehem illuminate our path and lead us along paths of joy, security and prosperity, today and in the year that is about Arrive, amen.
