The Inuit creation stories are usually simple tales that give a brief description of the origin of the world or how the world is itself.  

Such as tales can oscillate between the different tribes and they are share through the oral word, which can be accompanied with images made of carves, and as well they can convey them with dances and music.  An example of these stories is the tale that describes the origin of the first land, which was created when a raven with its beak brought the land to the surface from the deepest part of the sea.  

As stated above you can find different levels of variation of this myth, that on some way it remembers the concept of the primal sea which you find in some version of the Sumerian and Greek cosmogonies.
