El valor de 3tgx + 4ctgx  es  7.

   La ecuación trigonométrica tgx + ctgx = 2 se resuelve sustituyendo ctgx por 1 /tgx , debido a que  ctgx = 1 /tgx , luego se calcula el valor de x y con este se encuentra e valor de 3tgx + 4ctgx, de la siguiente manera :

        tgx + ctgx = 2

        tgx + 1/tgx = 2

        ( tg²x + 1 )/tgx = 2

        tg²x + 1 = 2*tgx

        tg²x - 2* tgx + 1 =0

         ( tgx - 1 )² =0

           tgx - 1= 0

            tgx = 1

           x = tg⁻¹ ( 1 )

           x = 45º

 

      Entonces , 3tgx +4ctgx = 3* tg45º + 4* ctg 45º

                                             = 3*1 + 4* 1/tg45º

                                             = 3 + 4*1/1 = 7
