The elderly man comes to recognize the symbol, however, instead of giving the answer he decides to tell a story.
According to the story, many years ago a man came to the abbey, he asked for a place to rest and of course some food, then the monks who lived in the abbey did not hesitate to help him and had no problems with it.
In a dinner like any other, the monks decided to ask him some questions, with the passing of the minutes each question became more personal and then one asked him to dedicate himself.
The man patiently answered that he practiced a lot of music and was in search of a miserere so that God could forgive all his sins.
He spent a lot of time trying to find the miserere, but he could not succeed and so he spent a large part of his life until he reached that place.
Then the monks told him that at night you could hear a miserere singing by the monks who had died because of a tragic event, excited to know how the miserere decided to visit the place, but the monks warned him not to go.
The man did not decide to pay attention and went to the mountain to listen to the supposed miserere, spent 10 years working to write the miserere and wanted to finally have it.
