siendo:

$x - 3y = - 3 \rightarrow \textrm{Ec. \: 1} \\ \frac{1}{3} x + y = - 1 \rightarrow \textrm{Ec. \: 2}$

Dejamos en términos de x la Ec. 1:

$x = - 3 + 3y$

Este valor lo sustituiremos en la Ec. 2:

$\frac{1}{3} ( - 3 + 3y) + y = - 1 \\ \cancel{- 1} + y + y = \cancel{ - 1} \\ 2y = 0 \therefore \boxed{y = 0}$

Este valor lo reemplazo en Ec. 1:

$x \cancel{- 3(0) }= - 3 \therefore \boxed{x = - 3}$
