Porfa ayudenme reescribiendo estas oraciones pero con el past tense porfa.

1 Tim runs fast, but he can't beat Jo.
2 I can't go to the garden party because it's raining.
3 We are asking him if he can come to the dance.
4 I don't play the violin, but I can play the guitar.
5 He says he can sing very well.
6 You can't play loud music there after midnight.

Explicación:   Estas oraciones tienen dos oraciones en una, es decir, son oraciones combinadas.  Por lo tanto, hay que poner ambas en past tense.

he subrayado los verbos que se cambian para que los identifiques mejor.

2. I couldn´t go to the garden party because it was raining.

3. We were  asking him if he could come to the dance.

4. I didn´t play the violin, but I could play the guitar.

5. He said he could sing very well.

6. You couldn´t play loud music there after midnight.

Nota:  el past tense de can es could...en ese caso, el que cambia es él, y no el verbo.
