Description of some of the flags we have around the world:
Brazil's Flag:
Brazil's flag consists on a green rectangle, wich has a yellow diamond and a blue circle wich contains 27 five pointed white stars, and a legend that says "Ordem e progresso" (wich means order and progress) on top of it.
green stands for Brazil's lush fields and forests, yellow stands for Brazil's wealth on gold and the blue circle stads for the celestian globe.
Peru's flag:
Peru's flag consists on a Rectangle divided in three sections, the middle section is white coloured and the two other sections are red coloured, in middle of the white section of the flag, you can find the coat of arms wich features a llama, a chichona tree and a cornucopia representing Peru's prosperity .
white and red represent the Inca tribe and how it has impacted in Peru's culture.
France's Flag:
France's Flag consists on a Rectangle dividen in Three sections, the middle section being white coloured, the section nearest to the flag-staff being blue coloured and the outside section being red coloured.
Blue, red and white stand for democracy or republicanism, and also represent the ideals of the French revolution.
United States of America's flag:
USA's flag consists on a a rectangle with thirteen alternated horizontal red and write stripes representing the thirteen original colonies, and has a blue rectangle on the upper left corner, wich has alternated rows of fifthy five pointed white stars, wich represent the fifthy states of the United States of America.
Blue stands for vigilance, perseverance and justice, white stands for purity and innocence, and red stands for hardiness and valour.
United Kingdom's flag:
Uk's Flag consists on a blue rectangle with a red asterisk like form wich is surrounded by white stripes, on top of it, it comes from the combination of the flags of all the nations that make up the United Kingdom.
white stands for peace and honesty, blue stands for vigilance, truth and loyalty, and red stands for hardiness, bravery, strenght and valour.
Japan's Flag:
Japan's Flag is a simple flag wich consists on a white rectangle with a red circle representing the sun located at the middle of it.
Red stands for the prosperous future that Japan has and white stands for purity, honesty, and the integrity of Japan.
Greece's Flag:
Greece's Flag consists on 9 alternating horizontal blue and white stripes with a blue circle on the ipper left corner wich has a white cross on it.
Blue and white stand for the seas that surround Greece, blue being the water and white being the wave crests, and the white cross stands for Greek's Orthodoxy, wich is the religion that is stablished in Greece.
Ecuador's Flag:
Ecuador's Flag consists on a Rectangle with three horizontal unequal sized stripes, on top of the flag the larger yellow coloured stripe is located, beneath the yellow stripe, there is a smaller blue coloured stripe, and at the bottom of the flag there is a red coloured stripe, wi ch is the same size as the blue coloured stripe, making the yellow stripe cover half of the surface of the flag, while the red and blue stripes cover the other half, each one covering a quarter of the surface, in middle of the flag, the coat of arms is displayed, the coat of arms contains smaller ecuador flags and an image of a landscape with a sun, a mountain and a river, wich has a steamboat sailing on its waters, and on the top of the coat of arms there is a condor.
Yellow stands for the crops and fertile soils, blue stands for the ocean and clear blue skies, and red stands for the blood of those who fought for their freedom.
