Advantage:
Nobody controls our schedules and we do not have to explain what we do or do not do (do we always like this?)
We clean and cook when we want
We decorate and give the place the appearance we want, without needing to agree with anyone.
We occupy all the closets (closets), drawers, closets and all free spaces.
If we have a partner, not seeing each other for a couple of days usually increases the desire to see each other again.
Disadvantages:
We arrived at our house and it is empty: we do not have anyone to talk about what happened to us during the day, we lack affective containment (according to several studies, sharing our daily tribulations reduces stress).
We take care of all household expenses.
We always eat alone.
Some of us become more manic with our things, and each time we are more annoyed by what we consider to be someone else's disorder (many times, it's just a different order).
We are responsible for absolutely everything that involves the management of a house (go to the supermarket, wash clothes, take care of gas losses or water leaks).
There is a greater tendency to be sad. At certain moments we feel we are missing something, we long for the company of other people, or for that special being who lives somewhere else ...
