presente simple es lo que se hace en el día a dia, lo cotidiano, el verbo llevará s para he o she (he writes,, she plays) 
presente continuo es lo que estás haciendo en este mismo momento 
(You are reading this= estás leyendo esto) 
el presente continuo lleva is/ are + un verbo que termina en ING 
I am writing (estoy escribiendo) 
She is eating (ella está comientdo)
