es sobre el batminton y un poco su historia :
Badminton is a racket sport in which two players (singles or singles) or two pairs (doubles) are faced. Players or pairs are placed in the opposite halves of a rectangular track divided by a network.
Unlike other racket sports, badminton is not played with a ball, but with a projectile called a flywheel or a feather, which consists of a half-sphere (as a ball) surrounded in its base by feathers. Such design offers aerodynamic resistance to the projectile's path, giving cadence to the movements and avoiding its detour in case of wind. Competitions are also held in enclosed precincts.
Players must hit the wheel with their racquets so that it crosses the track above the net and falls into the opponent sector. The point ends when the pen touches the ground, being able to only be hit once before overcoming the net.
Badminton is Olympic sport in five modalities: male and Femen singles
