I agree with those leaders who want to ban thse harmful snacks and drinks from school. Health food can taste just as good if not better than junk food. Junk food can cause all kinds of problems such as childhood obesity which puts children at risk for diabetes, heart disease and other health problems. Also food with lots of sugar can prevent a student from being able to pay attention in class. Schools would be setting a good example by supplying only healthy choices to kids. Parents would still be able to decide what kids can eat at home. And though some schools make money from the sales of these types of foods, they shouldn´t continue to make money at the risk of their students´ health.
