Did se usa para expresar "the simple past tense" en ingles.

Por ej., Did you do the dishes yet?

No, I did not do them yet.

Did you see the big game on t.v. last night?

No, I did not see it because I was working. What happened? Who won?

You can use "did" with many different verbs.For example:

Work

Play

Eat

Run

Study

Walk

Just remember to write did then the infinitive ("to be" form) of the verb you wish to talk about.

Example:I did study for my exam, but I did not bring a pencil.
