How are static electricity and current electricity alike? How are they different?

Static electricty and current electricity are different in the way that static electricty is an imbalance of negatively and positively charged atoms while current electricity is a constant flow of electrons.

They are similar in the way that both produce electrical currents which means that an outside force that creates electrons to move from atom to atom.
