Spring length 1 = l₁

l₁ = 20 cm = 20 cm (1 m / 100 cm) = 0.20 m

Spring length 2 = l₂

l₂ = 22 cm = 22 cm (1 m / 100 cm) = 0.22 m

Spring constant = k

Spring Force = F = 100 N

Use:  F = k(l₂ - l₁)

100 = k(0.22 - 0.20)

100 = k(0.02)

100 / 0.02 = k

5000 = k

k = 5000 N / m
