The prisoner of the fog

I can not escape from this old house. I have tried again and again, but the fog prevents me. It is so dense that it is impossible to wander out there without getting lost. It seems as if the house is the only thing that exists. I do not know how I got here, or who it belongs to. If only I could remember ... but no matter how hard I try, I can not. Occasionally strangers come to the house. I do not know anything. Sometimes I hide; others, I try to talk to them, but they flee in terror. That is when I realize that I am dead.
