Past tense es completo. (tiempo pasado)  

Past participle es una parte de los tiempos perfectos (present perfect, past perfect, etc.)  

Los perfect tenses = has/have/had/... + past participle  

PAST comparado con el PAST PARTICIPLE (los participios regulares se parecen a las formas pasadas):  

I STUDIED / I had STUDIED  

I SAW / I had SEEN  

We DANCED / We had DANCED  

You GO / You had GONE  

He ATE / He had EATEN.  

She LOOKED / She had LOOKED
