WHY? I attach the image of the problem.

We can see three lines:

• A-E
• C-B
• C-D

The only only line that is not content in the plane is line AE, that is protruting out of Plane N (perpendicular to the plane).

In order for the lines to be considered in of Plane N, the line should not be protruting out, so AE is not part of the plane.
